    Reverse recall software update

Just had the recall done and my software version went from 011_007_035 to 014_015_020 which is quite a jump. Has anyone noticed any changes to any of the bikes functionality? Any screen changes, icon changes, etc?

Information Fluid insertion and extraction tool

After wasting some $ on “squirt bottles” that turned out to be a bigger PIA than necessary, I found someting that works really well for filling up your transmission and final drive. This extraction tool works as an fluid insertion tool as well. The filler hose comes in two sizes so there is no...

    About the Kern Stabi Lift

I only used it once to change tires with the bike on the lift—that’s the only reason I bought it. I do lift it from the rear first. It’s not a major issue; I should be able to fixi it, but it still looks to me like it could have been made a little stronger.

    About the Kern Stabi Lift

@Star-Lord Here are some pictures. The lift is tweaked. I’m not sure how this could be user error, I mean you attach the lift and pull the handle. I may resort to hammering it out.

    About the Kern Stabi Lift

I watched @Star-Lord YouTube video and his front pin just slid right in. That was my experiance when I used the lift for the first time. Looking at it yesterday, it looked like the lift was flexing just enough under the weight that the pin was off by about half the diameter of the hole. After a...

    About the Kern Stabi Lift

Prior to yesterday, I used this lift once. Yesterday, I could not get the pin through the holes in the front section of the lift. The bike's weight during that first use bent the lift just enough so that the holes were not lined up. I had to take a hammer and pound the front of the lift so that...

Need Help WTB - 2023 R18 Transcontinental Mineral White Option 719

You can buy the alarm unit and add it yourself. You need a Hexcode GS911 to do it. I’ve done it on another BMW.

Changing your own tyres, who's doing it?

I have five bikes, including my R18B. I changed the tires on all of them with a Rabaconda, which has already paid for itself. The R18 tires are easy enough; it just takes a little longer due to the bags.

It’s a pain in the ass to get the key lined up with the slot in the lock. At least for me it is.

    Warning - seat scam

The name is also a red flag, Bruce John. Whenever I see a name like that or something like Alex Harry, Frank Billy, or two names that don’t typically go together I get suspicious.

    Battery in the DWA unit

Its the same DWA module. I think all of the bikes with an alarm use the same module.
