It is finished! Detail is amazing on the model unfortunately the old eyes and fat fingers mean there are a few errors/mistakes but i am super impressed with the overall result.
Now to try and figure out how to add the same mods as on the real Big Red
I bought the Meng 1/9 Scale Model not sure what to expect. It is coming together and I have to admit I am impressed with the quality of the kit and the finish on the painted parts.
Was happy to get the classic in the Mars Red same as Big Red.
Will not have all the same mods but it will sit in...
Some amazing roads in that region I am very jealous. When we have visited Marbella in the past and i was forced into the rental car I could only dream of riding the bike which was then a 2005 K1200S.

It is more finished than that now. It took almost 7 years of small improvements and the bar was self made. I assembled the billiard table on my own to save money. Fortunately the basement was finished when we bought the house 11 years ago and has a full height ceiling.

Installed the Vance and Hines slip one. Easy to do once figured it out.
Not a huge difference noticed in sound. But will know more after first ride tomorrow
Today I replaced the polished alloy covers with BMW original black chromed ones.
In my opinion improved the looks no end
Tomorrow, hopefully, the Vance and Hines slip ons will be added.
Also assembled the Kern Stabi the the mobility wheels. Much easier to move around.
I have installed the chrome version on my Classic.
Love the looks and will be keen to see how it wears over time.
I found the finish of the chrome to be good. But I guess only time will tell.
For the black I almost went that route but glad I didn’t now. Seems it is a painted not a black chrome...
I am 172cm or 5ft6 and when I first sat on the bike it was the first bike ever that the bars felt exactly right. They did seem to be rotated backwards slightly. It was a used bike so perhaps the previous owner adapted it slightly.
