As a general precaution I would not rely on adaptive cruise control but that is just me... if you are gonna go for hundreds of miles the touring spec ones are definitely worthwhile. Another odd bit about the base model (ask me how I know) is that windshields and other quality of life upgrades...

Yeah I have a similar issue but instead of deer it would be random pedestrians j-walking literally anywhere! I am under the belief I would be good with just one big one. Can't hurt having two though for sure.

Do they sell kits of just one light? I know it seems like a handicap but I'd imagine you get a lot with just one light and the kit as a pair is pretty pricey.

On my daily commute I don't notice vibration until I get to 3.5-4ish thousand rpm. At that point, its not realistic conditions and the vibes are a buzzing feel in the seat. The idle vibes are fun but other than that, not much to worry about. For clarification I have the base model with pegs.

Now, for the serious discussion lol. So, how tall are you? I've got a '22 base model and am in sort of the same issue being 6'3''. The wind gusts will hit you in the sides often enough so a fairing may not be a good cure-all. At least that has been my experience down here in flat as hell...

Update, got it bent down and out a bit.. added the chrome shields after I cut them down to size. Gonna check how the paint holds up after commuting tomorrow.

Good evening! I got a couple Vance and Hines mufflers from a softail I cut down to fit the bike and notice there is about a half to three quarters of an inch of the muffler aiming right at the swingarm. How do the aftermarket mufflers make this work without possibly cooking the swingarm? Thanks!
