Same as others here and yes when I took it to the dealer, of course it started first time every time as it was at operating temp. So there was nothing they could do. At next full service I will get them to look into it. Meantime not really a big issue and looks like it resolves itself in time.

Yes. They have some design to them but would they provide complete protection of covers in the event of a fall over. Does anyone have them fitted.?

Don't know where you're located but google Balina Motorcycles in Australia. There is an example of bars very similar design to the ones in Xumerx's photo. They look tidy and not too obtrusive.

Absolutely agree, a necessary evil in the looks dept. Someone must make a product that follows the lines of those pots so as to be less noticeable.

Passengers are not needed really. Luv the way the seat is finished off but we don't need them (pillions) do we.

For me, customizing an R18 is all about accentuating the engine, not disguising or minimalizing it. IMO, from this angle you have done this perfectly. The pipes don't take away from those huge pots, they are black and blend in. Great job luv it.
