I prefer the lighter background in place today over the black background. The Indian Motorcycle forum uses the black background and I find it difficult to read.

Only about half of the RSD accessories listed in the original R18 accessory catalog were ever produced. I’m not surprised that those that were are slowly disappearing.

So following up on the conversation concerning the Metzeler tires cupping on the new Indians. Apparently the problem tires were manufactured in Brazil but they were only the fronts and they narrowed it down to a batch specifically designated to go to the Indian plant.

In my one year wait for my parts from LMC, Hans had COVID and then a heart issue. I’m not saying but he looks like a pretty healthy guy in his online pictures.

The Cruisetec and from what I understand they were manufactured in Metzeler’s plant in Mexico. They are saying it was from a bad batch but my Indian dealer is suggesting switching over to Dunlop on those bikes.

Indian has had a rash of warranty replacements for the Metzeler tires they spec on the Challenger/Pursuit line of bikes. Severe cupping and wobble at 35 mph. My buddy just bought a Pursuit down in Florida and the dealer is replacing the front tire at less than 1K miles.

Nope, just uses the leather from Spirit Leathers who is Hans’ leather supplier. Hans would never use that rear fender design.

I’ve never heard a single report of Hans not delivering. But you do need the patience of Jobe.
