Front signal wiring

I’m replacing front turn signals with after market and am wondering how to go about wiring the after market signals. I was trying to replace with Roctane signals using my reverse rebate but that was a no go. I’m installing Kuryakyn Bullet 1000s. They have three wires and not sure how to wire it up to the two/plug for the bike.

I use Bullet 1000's ... no resistor needed no fault thrown ... use the GS-911 to turn on the 'Cruising Lights' feature and ... presto.
2 wires ... mind + and - (- = gray) and you are good

Appreciate the insight Ulrich and MilwDave! They do not make it easy, those front screws on the shocks were some work.

I am dense when it comes to electrical. The adapter has two connections while my bullets have three wires. What do,I do with the third wire from the bullet? They are running lights and turn signals.

The stock turn signals are not running lights so they will only use two of the wires on your lights.

I have three wires coming from the bullet; black, solid grey and then grey with white dots. The adaptor I got under recommendation from Milwdave has a red and black wire. What combination do I use to wire the three wires from the Bullet to the two wires on the adaptor? Black to black and grey+grey with white dots to red?

Ok I am a bit confused you have 3 wires coming from the bike OEM wiring? And the colors are Black, Black/Grey and What? On my bike both front turn signals had only 2 wires going to each ... One side was brown and blue/red the other side brown and blue/black regardless ... The brown is the negative (ground) wire and the blue something is the positive wire. So connect your black wire from the Bullet 1000 lights to the brown wire from the bike and the red wire to the blue/something wire from the bike. I used no connectors I cut the wires and soldered them ... If you use a plug you just have to figure out which wire turns into what color to end up with the former mentioned scenario ...
