The Wünderlich ones? Dó share photos por favor. They have the Schorsch Meyer texture too no?! A serious advantage they have over vintage ones is that they are thin. I like the one belo. Also because the back looks like it suits the use of double sided tape. The downside is that it is 2 cm. thick.

My 10cts worth (so 16c Australian worth)..... I like my wunderworld tank pads (especially now I can't remember how much they were).

Evening ..... After riding Harley's for some time I've moved to BMW and pick up a new R18 First Edition in frozen orange on Saturday :) After the test ride I was convinced the bike rode and handled better than the Street Glide I was looking at .... then it was just a case of haggling !! Really...

...I have found a source for polyeurathane bushes of different give/dampening rates (skateboarding world) .... so will play a bit.... and report back. And.... the Wunderlich tank pads texture match the homage seat nicely.... the light in the photo makes them look darker... but they are not.

So.... a couple of rides over the last few days trying to get my Wilbers rear shock dialed in. This included a call to the supplier to discuss both the chance of the shock being faulty, specced wrong and also a set up discusion..... after I initially struggled to attain an "ah ha" moment...

No I did not. So where is the FOB antenna located right now? In the stock seat? It looks like I will be waiting a few months before I get to ride mine as well

I was thinking about tank pads and some Risers. I'm 6'4". The stock seat won't work for more than half an hour, hence the homage seat possibly raised up a bit

I heard some feel it helps protect the pin stripe finish. Reminds me of my 6 gallon /5 tank side rubber pads…thu indeed smaller :)

Swapped out for the Day Rider which makes a big difference. Thinking of having my original seat modified with Gell pads etc. Not sure why I would bother as I do really like the Day Rider.

Installed wunderlich black engine bar, wunderlich knee pads on the fuel tank. Deleted the US red reflectors on the saddlebags and installed RSD exhaust tips on factory classic exhaust. Time to put some more miles on it now that the weather has finally melted the snow here in Michigan!
