Here are some measurements and comparisons for the two bars to get an idea of how they line up.

Well, I finally have TC handlebars installed on my Classic! For anyone complaining their bars are too far in to reach comfortably, this has been a tremendous improvement. You can now ride sitting in a more upright position rather than having to lean in and eventually getting shoulder fatigue...

Awhile back I removed the floorboards and installed the Transcontinental flat pegs and found the same issue with brake pedal being too high. For your foot to be comfortably on the peg, you'd be engaging the brake all the time. Have to angle foot outward which is not the ideal position if you...

I was coming home from work one night when I saw a single light in my rear view mirror that kept going off and on every ten seconds or so. Thinking it was a loose wire on his headlight, he finally got closer and then passed me around 80 mph doing a wheelie. Each time he did it, his headlight...

Not sure if all the bikes have them, but on mine the toe has an eccentric cam like adjustment which allows you to rotate it up or down, forward and back. As far as the Wunderlich long peg, definitely recommend.

Got one online awhile back. Had to wrap a cloth around it and carefully put it in vice and do a little bending to get it to line up the way I wanted it, but turned out pretty good. It's much easier to flip this lever down than using the factory one.

Curious how the Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT seat is compared to the Weekender or Day Rider? There don't appear to be any reviews out there for the Wunderlich on the R18's. You had mentioned earlier you installed the Wunderlich seat, but then your later pictures show the BMW solo seat . Did you...

Have a rear gear shift extender from Wunderlich $35 shipping included (lower 48 states). Installed it, but immediately took back off, wasn't for me. This is the chrome version. https://www.wunderlichamerica.com/BMW_R18_R18_Classic_Gear_Enlargers

Ok, I'll go ahead and take it off your hands. Forgot how to reply individually.

Was curious, did the dealer say why you had to change out the rear brake lever or was that just a preference?

If your bike came with floorboards, you can swap them out with the flat pegs used on the R18B Bagger model which is what I did. I got them thru BMW dealer ($182). However since you have the standard round foot pegs, you can't use these without changing the mounting brackets and kickstand which...

The first scratch is always the hardest. ☹️ Coincidentally, when installing my new windshield a torx bit fell off my ratchet and landed on the front fender nicking the paint. Luckily I'm getting a new full-length aluminum fender which will have a new paint job already on it. I've learned...

I had considered the Wunderlich flat pegs which actually are an inch lower, but they only work with bikes that have the round pegs, and would have required using different mounting brackets and kickstand. Luckily someone here on the forum mentioned the R18B pegs would mount right up, otherwise...

Well I finally swapped out my floorboards for the R18B flat pegs and realized what an improvement it turned out to be. With the boards, you have to place your feet further apart while at a stop light. The pegs allows you to place them inward towards the bike and get both feet flatter on the...

Measured with calipers, they're somewhere between 33.6 and 33.8 mm thick. The finish is a polished stainless, not chrome plated. I think either one looks great on this bike.

Was debating whether to go with OEM chrome crash bars, or try the stainless steel ones from Hornig. Have to say these stainless bars turned out pretty nice, and are about hundred bucks cheaper than OEM. Some of the others I've seen had a kind of pear shade to them, but these are a bit more...

It's funny, everything you've added to this bike, I've just done myself. New windshield, Memphis lowers, reverse lever, Bagger pegs, engine guards. Even had first service at dealer last week. It definitely was a great buy with all those options you already installed. Unfortunately we don't...

For the R18, it looks like only items which are already covered under warranty are discounted. Not much incentive to join up just yet. Cycle Gear was emailing me all kinds of discount coupons, but found they didn't apply to any of the items I actually wanted to purchase. Reminds me of...

Installing the handlebar extension kits will help pull bars back to you about 2 inches, and that took some of the pressure off my shoulders since I was able to sit more upright and not lean into them. A search of "R18 handlebar risers" will provide plenty of vendors on ebay selling them...

Bought the Ebay riser/extensions (China) and have to say they are very good quality. No lead bolts or Harbor Freight grade material. They set the handlebars back toward you about 2 inches and I also rotated them down just a bit. Have to say it makes a big difference and definitely recommend...
