Jacket chest pocket does not work for me. Very frustrating. Really don’t want to deface the bike or spend a bunch of money to make it easier to give the state money.
This came up in another thread recently. I learned I’m not the only one of us who overfilled the oil on their first BMW because they misread the sight glass.
Super easy to set it where you want it. Pull the bolt, slide the lever off, slide it back on, replace the bolt.
There is a page in your manual that describes it.
I lowered mine as well. Made a world of difference.
Oh, since I started this thread, I should mention I got a pair of the “Rider” pants too.
Pretty thin material compared to, say, Rallye pants. They were only $230 and have armor, vents, and a waterproof liner that zips at the waist and leg bottoms.

I’m going to give something like that another try today. Was scoping out attachment points and there are frame tubes forward of the pillion but nothing really behind it other than the turn signal stalks. I don’t know that I want to pull on those at all.

Turns out I just finally picked it up this week. Rides even better than the pure version I tested back in December, I think. Rode even better once I set the suspension as I learned from this forum.
