    Key Fob/Battery issue

Maybe this will help. I had the same issue with my R18 FE in the beginning. Checked the key fob and bended the contacts a little bit towards the inside/ battery. After that, no more issues. It’s worth a try. Good luck.

    Wilbers Shock on base model.

I did exactly the same upgrade to my R18 FE and can only confirm what you experienced. My Wilbers 640 configuration is: rider’s weight 80kg, 20mm higher, as comfortable as possible, 95% solo. Highly recommended. As I am a lightweight, it feels so much more comfortable vs stock. Very close to the...

Media Appreciation For The R18 Is Improving

I changed the stock suspension to a Wilbers 640 shock. Another world. Very happy with it!

    to seat or not to

It can be done in 30min with the right tools. It’s an easy job. However, my dealer did it for me almost for free. I ordered the shock with the 20mm higher option and I was a bit concerned to exchange myself. It worked out very well. It’s really day and night. For a bit lighter people like me...

    to seat or not to

You made some valuable points. In the end, it’s all subjective anyway. I am “only” 5’8” and for me the stock seats works well in combination with the new Wilbers shock, which btw, I ordered 2cm higher. That brings a bit more suspension travel and in consequence also a bit more felt ground...

    to seat or not to

The stock seat is not the problem in my opinion. After replacing the rear shock with a customized one from Wilbers, my R18 rides close to the comfort of a GS. 3 hours in the original saddle is not a problem anymore. A few other friends did the same to their R18 and are as happy as I am now. I...

There is no problem. I checked this with Chris from the BT Moto sales department. As their window for returns is only 30 days, he recommended to sell it to a forum member. My unit has not been used to flash my bike anyway.

Thank you for your interest. Yes, I have contacted Chris from the sales department of BT Moto. He actually suggested to sell my unit to one of forum members. I am sure if there is anything else needed like the order number, etc. I can provide that but I don’t think it is required. I tried to...
