I talked to my local dealer, and a dealer in Michigan, and both of them stated that the replacement fixes should start rolling out to dealerships the end of May. Neither specified if owners or showroom bikes would be first for the fix.
I run 90 octane pure gas in my 2018 GSA and it starts up with one crank of the motor, even when it's below 40 degrees. It idles better, and the mpg is better than when I run 93 ethanol.

Had a similar problem on a KLR. If you helped the kickstand up till it stopped, it would occasionally die when I put it in gear. But if I just kicked it up with my heel, it would never happen.
I find it hard to believe that the light can’t be opened and repaired. On Facebook, a lady received a response from BMW stating that they will not replace the light with a standard one.
Agreed, the adaptive headlight on a bike is overkill; especially the R18's. These bikes are not going to be used to go canyon carving in the dark, they are however more apt to be going down a moderately straight highway during the hours of darkness. I'm pretty confident that all the riders...
