Only 10; tén, road registered TransContinentals in all of Switzerland. That is including those at the dealers. Ufffff. That is not a lot.

Makes me wonder how many R18s there are in Spain.
I have owned an R18, an R18 Classic and currently own an R18TC w/sidecar. Is your Niimbus attached to the R18? Suspension and fuel tank size are just two of the major differences between the two bikes. There are several other differences. More importantly what do you want the bike to do? What sort of riding do you intend on doing? I think that 10 TCs in Switzerland seems perfectly reasonable. Having gotten married in Switzerland the TC would not be my 1st choice for alpine roads. Everyone is different. I love my TC and for what I use it for it is great but when I get into the twisties in the mountains it works me harder than any of my other bikes, sidecar or not.
