Hi everyone,

I have a 2022 BMW R 18 B (US version), and I'm planning to move to Spain. I need to convert the rear turn signals from red to amber to meet European requirements.

I've already purchased and installed the original European BMW rear lights, which have separate amber turn signals and red running/brake lights.

The problem is that the US wiring uses a combined PWM signal for the running lights, brake lights, and turn signals. When I connect the European lights, the red lights still flash when I activate the turn signals.

I've tried several wiring configurations without success, and even my BMW dealer couldn't help with the conversion.

At this point, I'm considering installing two separate amber LED turn signals at the rear, using the signals from the front turn signals.
However, I still need to stop the red rear lights from flashing while keeping the running and brake lights working normally.
Has anyone successfully done this conversion on a US-spec R 18 B?
Is there a way to separate the rear brake and running light signals, or a compatible module that could solve this problem without causing CAN bus errors?
Any advice, wiring diagrams, or photos would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Luis
