2023 R18 100 Years vs. R18 Classic Option 719 White

2023 R18 100 Years Anniversary edition vs R18 Classic


A dealer near me has both the 2023 R18 100 Years Anniversary edition and the R18 Classic Option in 719 White deeply discounted. Almost $8K off MSRP. They are both new units with 0% finance available from BMW, oth similarly priced within $200 of each other, out the door. Love both and I'm torn on which one to purchase.


Which one would be the better buy? I'd love to hear some perspectives. Thanks in advance

To me classic is the better deal. Windshield, fog lights and luggage is over 3k. Looks and reverse for the 100 year. Good luck.

Definitely the classic , cruise control , hill start, fog lights, luggage, (which can be removed to turn it into a bobber in minutes, thats my pick.

Personally, I'd go with the anniversary model. The classic is more or less like the other R18s. The Anniversary model in time MIGHT be the better choice. Looks wise, no contest, the anniversary model is the bomb.

Ride 'em both, back to back. Do you need luggage or not? Both are beautiful so esthetically it's a wash, pick the one that meets your needs.

Yea, can’t go wrong either way. You’ve got a Classic in your thumbnail, are you considering a swap just because of the 719 colour scheme? Don’t think there’s going to be much difference in the way they ride, not really. The Classic is 20kg heavier and possibly a bit more sluggish on the steering because of the extra weight bolted to it but you’ll be used to that anyway. As above maybe try both before deciding?
