A set of used Trans-Con "Leg wind defectors" solved my R-18 B wind turbulence issues.

I love my 2023 R-18 B but have always had wind turbulence issues coming from below the bat-wing and hitting me from chest up. On eBay I found a like-new set of used "leg wind defectors" from a 2022 Transcontinental and scooped them up. They fixed the problem. No more turbulence issues. There is only one minor issue as the B-Model turn signals will barely touch the defectors when the front end is turned to the stops ( the Trans-Con uses different front signals). Both the signals and the deflectors flex some, so I can get by with it. I put very small strips of female Velcro on the signals to avoid scratches. This saves me the huge expense of adding driving lights and signals from the Trans-Con models.

I'm glad to hear that solved the problem. I am just getting ready to do the same thing. I am prepared to fabricate a bracket to relocate the turn signals - do you have a picture of where the signals contact the deflector?

Look closely at the first photo. That strip of Velcro on the back of the turn signal shows the impact area. It only comes into play at the locks when turning the handle bars--only a slight issue.

Nope, I liked the Classic but traded it for the B to get more creature comforts--I updated my profile, thanks!

I have zero.zero updraft on my R18 ever since I bought fork deflectors from Memphis Shades. Totally transformed the ride.

I just put on the lower deflectors same as the Transcontinental last night I am also happy to report that all my helmet shake is gone. What an amazing difference.

It is amazing how much air turbulence comes from underneath. The 2022 TC I owned previous had the best wind management of any bike, and Ive had a few.
I was able to duplicate the TC on my R18 base using the method noted two threads back.
