2022 BMW R18B
Hello everyone. Not sure what your experience is but it seems no one has been able to properly fit aftermarket indicator lights or a third brake light on a US/Canadian version of the 2023 R18. I have ewritten everyone from HEX ezCan to Denali to Kellermann to Weiser Technik to Elektronik Box. Every answer is "To our best knowledge" or "we don't really Know anything about US models"
Has anyone had success? Id like to install the 2-in-1 tail brake/signal lights (Kellerman Bullet 100 DF) with Red and Yellow, the handle bar end turn signals (Kellerman BL 200), and a third brake light. I understand the two color units and 3rd brake light being difficult to incorporate without a module of sorts. As for the bar indicators, I don't get why they would be a problem. Any hopeful insight is much appreciated.

the US/Canadian models should be the same. Several here have added sidecar lighting with HEX ezCan which in effect is adding a third brake light etc. No difference between US and EU version at all.
Without a module of sorts is not going to work period.
Why not? CAN bus!

Same everything with CANbus, even with Urals nowadays. Tapping into a wire using a 'ladron de corriente' of sorts ;) is not working with this generation of tech.

The US models only use two (2) wires, and vary the voltage from ~5 to 6 Volts to 12 Volts to increase intensity (i.e. BRAKE lights).

If ordering Kellerman, you will want to order the two wire version; 1:1 replacement for your front directionals project, same for the tail lights and directionals. Kellerman also offers a resistance module, which in some cases might be required depending on the choice of tail lights, in order to not throw any errors codes - indicating a burned out or faulty taillight.

Try searching "kellerman" within the forum, you should find a couple of good examples of bobber projects, which had kellerman lights installed.

^ What Star-Lord said ... 2 wires ... the brightness is done via voltage or pulse width modulation ... I am using Kellerman Bullet 1000 'Dark' in the front and some Kellerman knock-offs in the back ... 2 wires only front and back of the US models ... the rear has 4 wires going to it .. but only 2 do something.

Sweet. Did you use a mounting adapter for the rear lights?
That's the look I am trying to achieve.

I ordered mounting adapters from Wunderlich Part # 36330600
along with 5 watt resistors Part # 44109400
I used the Kellerman Atto lights in the back and they works perfectly.
For the Bar ends I used Motostarz Motogadget M-Blaze Disk and they wired to the factory wires and no issues with throwing trouble codes.
The only nightmare was the mounting adaptors to integrate with my bar end mirrors. Ended up fabricating my own.

Motogadget has also rearview mirrors, which integrate perfectly with the bar end indicators.

II ordered those and they didn't work at all. I ended up cutting those up and doing a hybrid fabrication to make something up.

I should clarify, My mirrors didn't fit on those. They were two large for my mirrors. I ended up doing a hybrid version of my mounts and the new mounts, integrating
