I know there is an old thread on filters. Did not want drag it up as I did not see and info on them, which one is better? Anybody tried both? I am getting ready to start to up the HP on my R18 B. I am going to be having lots of questions down the road. Thanks in advance

I just put the DNA filter in my 23 anniversary model. Only rode the bike once since, can't really tell a difference. Bike only has 1000 miles on it. The only other mod without changing parts is the Bren tune re map. I have heard mix reviews on it, plus I can't seem to get a through answer on how to download the re- map et.et. Other than that, new pipes MIGHT make a slight difference and I understand you don't need a re map for that as the chip or whatever will self adjust.
I'm disappointed in Mottorrad that the factory doesn't offer factory performance mods. Harley offers stage 1, 2, 3 et performance changes. Plus there is an entire industry centered around modifying Harley's for performance and appearance.
This motor, clutch, brakes, et. could handle another 10-30lbs of torque I believe. That would take the bike from nice to exciting. It would also dramatically help keep up the value of the bike, better resale, and stop BMW buyers from getting rid of their bike because although a nice solid ride, it could use more torque....I bought my bike on looks. In reality, it's not really the style bike that suits my purposes. I'm a canyon rider. This bike will do that but it's not really designed for that. It's a great bike for someone that had bikes, been riding for years, not really interested in high performance, but just want's to get out there to escape the wife and stack of bills on their desk...

I would be MUCH happier with the bike with 30 lbs more of torque. Top speed is of no interest, I want acceleration. I'm not really riding over 70 mph...

I don't want to start taking this thing apart changing cams, pistons, et.et. I've already had that endless night mare on bikes and race boats....

I posted on another thread. I bought a Sprint Filter. They are fantastic on my Suzuki’s. Will keep you guys uo to date when I get it.
