Yes, did use the search function but there does not seem to be a generic one and the bane of online forums is ... well, people like mestarting a new thead 🥵

You guys all seem to be using quite high tech modern stuff. Mine is a handheld U480 Memoscan which has been serving me for years BC
It has worked on Toyotas, VAG and to my surprise even on SsangYongs which were infamous for tricky diagnostics.
Have not tried it on the R18 under the don´t fix what ain´t broken, but it should for the basic fault read out and erasing no?!
And if it does not, I will go to the friendly independent at 50 yards down the track. He services his own and friends M4s too so again, shoúld... :ROFLMAO:

Have not even looked whether the OBD2 port is on the left or the right  Best look under the rhs cover first as I can then see the battery too.

Ok a question; anyone know whén and if for all models BMW moved the OBD port from the right to the left?

I don't know where mine is. Do I need an adapter? I have 2 readers, one is a simple wired one that fits the port on my Silverado. I can read codes and reset some. I also have a wireless reader, fits the same port but can use many different software. Will I need an adapter? Where can I get one? Will the adapter that fits my 2021 HONDA CRF450L fit? Does anyone have a pic of the port? So many questions...
