Any idea what these front fork straps are for?

As subject, have you seen strap mounts like these on the forks before? I purchased this '23 Transcontinental used and removed a couple mods already (cameras and accessory wiring) but not sure what this one was for? I'm worried there is a lot of damage behind the straps but I definitely want to get rid of the rusted bolts at the very least.

I have a new 23 TC and they are not on my bike. I would guess former owner installed for something.

Those look like mounts for an aftermarket fork lower wind deflector.

Yep as said above. Mounts for fork deflector ... likely the Memphis Shades ones. You can remove.

Y'all are awesome, knew you would know! I removed them and luckily there isn't too much damage to the chrome finish underneath. Interesting they didn't even use stainless steel bolts...
