2022 R18 Classic
Hi gents , Went to start my 2022 classic today and low and behold checks lights came on then "click" nothing . Took battery off and its reading no voltage and the positive pole was very rusted up . My question is can you fit any suitable battery as a replacement or does it have to be an OEM model ?. I,m asking as i phoned my dealership and was qouted £243 pounds not fitted !!!! and guess what my extended warranty does not cover batteries . Any info is welcome gents .

I put in my R18, the lithium battery from NOCO, NLP 30 size. Its on Amazon for $199. Amazon says it doesn't fit but they are wrong. Perfect fit. Go to the NOCO web page for fitment. WAY less weight too. 700 CCA vs stock 400 CCA. Very powerful and should last 10 years+.

Good battery at that price. $293 (£220) over in the UK from Amazon. 😢
