I installed the aux driving lights and no TFT icon, unfortunately. I found a function in the GS911 to enable front and rear cruising lights which I was hoping would enable the icon, but nope. The front keeps both blinkers on, and the rear enables another light. I'm not sure what that other light is, but it's brighter than the tail light but not as bright as the stop light. Both should add visibility, which is nice.

Did you use the existing Auxiliary Light wiring? Harris was able to get his R18 B Aux lights working, using the same button as the TC mode button (not stencilled with the Aux Light symbol); however, my R18 B (2022) would not respond to the mode button, I tried and tested several times... Still scratching my head... I'm sticking with my latch push button for now; or, at least until this gets figured out..

The existing mode button worked for me.

I was trying to get the dealer to enable the icon on the TFT when mine was in for servicing, but I guess they forgot, and I did not check for it until I got a about 50 miles away and was too late in the day to turn back around. I thought I would be able to change it with the GS911 but was unable so I have to try with my next trip up to the shop.

Just seen this thread. I have the late 20021 R18 Bagger First Edition. Have already done a few mods myself. Front/rear crash bars, Transcontinental Screen, great luggage rack and back rest. I have been looking for lights to fit on the front crash bars but have only found cheep stuff or LED lights which don't fit the style of the bike. My local BMW dealer says the lights shown on this thread can't be fitted to my Bagger as my bike has the indicators mounted to the front forks. How were these lights fitted? Thanks 👍

Your dealer is mis-informed. There are a couple of threads that describe the parts needed and the installation instructions. BTW, the Icon now displays in the TFT screen thanks to an update by Hexcode for the GS-911.

Thanks for you quick response Buddy. My issue is as follows. I live in Germany and bought my Bagger here (am English by the way). The front forks have a casting which accommodates the indicator lights. This presents two issues. Those Transcontiental lights which have the indicator lights included in the mounting bar won't fit as my indicators get in the way. If I removed my indicators, I would have two holes in the forks (left and right) which would need to be plugged. This is the reason why I wanted to have the lights mounted on my front crash bars. Secondly, I also wanted the wind deflectors from the Transcontinental but, they too won't fit as my indicators are in the way. I have enclosed a pic to show what I mean. If you zoom in to the front indicator, you'll see what I mean.
