BMW / RSD Handlebar End Caps

I'm currently pondering what to spend my reverse gear recall 'compensation' on (here in the UK it's 4% of the invoice price of the bike on BMW R18 accessory parts) and as part of that I'm thinking about some BMW / RSD bar end caps.
My question is, the OEM factory bar end weights are fairly hefty items intended to dampen vibrations through the bars. Even at a standstill with the engine running the bars and fairing on my R18B vibrate.
I'm assuming the RSD items are considerably lighter then the stock weights so if anyone has fitted these, what was the effect on handlebar vibration?

I held off on installing the RSD bar ends for that exact reason on my Model B; I did however, install the RSD bar ends on a set of beachbars that I recently installed on a R18 First Edition...

They are totally two different bikes, especially at highway speeds ... I'm going to keep the heavy bar ends on the Model B, so that they keep the vibrations in check as designed.
