Hey, folks - This is a question primarily for the bobber mod people. It's long, but please read and check the included links and if anyone has info, please chime in
I had the Bobber mod ( 77015A713A0_Bobber-Kit_US_0L11_01_202212.pdf ) done by my dealer (the ONLY dealer in all of Montana) last year and finally had the bike in this year for the reverse correction (this is NOT a complaint about the reverse deactivation compensation)
While in, I asked that the service tech change out the stock rear turn signals to the Kuryakin ATTO 2857/2858 ( https://www.cyclegear.com/assets/00...1smZ7LeeTqgKlreLT2PfXYuXMp5YYLlhJ-z0jYYL7XiK6 ) which is capable of red running, read brake and amber turn lights When I picked it up, I did not check the work but loaded it into my trailer (Montana - it's still cold here) When I got it unloaded at home I checked the lights
Running lights - red, check
Brake lights, hand (front) brake - red, check
Brake lights, foot (rear) brake - red, nope!!!!
Turn signal, left and right - RED, not amber
Talked to Owner, he had me contact the tech. The tech said (paraphrase) when the bobber mod was done he had to change the ECU so the turn signals are red and that that's the way it is and I have turn signals that have a capability that cannot be used.
Leaving aside the fact that I have NO REAR BRAKE light, anyone want to weigh in on this? And if you've a bobber mod please confirm the color of your rear turn signals. ThanX!
