Bobber Set Questions

My dealer FedEx'ed the bobber fender and seat to me. Fender is unpainted, so I can have painted to match exactly, including the pin stripe. The seat... I did not know it was molded plastic and it has an electrical connection on the underside (pigtail). Does anyone know if the seat is heated? What is the pigtail for? And any tips on changing the color? I was hoping to reupholster it in brown to match some Ends Cuoio luggage, but don't want to ruin anything. The tag description is " "Satz Solo Sitz Hommage schwarz" Schwarz meaning black, does BMW also make it in brown, maybe? Cross posted in Mechanical Help

There were some early suspicions that the wire was for seat heating if the seat was fitted to a B or TC model but it’s to do away with the keyless antenna ring under the standard seat. It’s referenced in the installation instructions as an audio frequency aerial.
Black is the only colour available but I’m sure I saw a dealer here in the UK has had a seat recovered. If I can remember which one it was I’ll search for the pic.
