Buzzing noise from battery area

Folks I need your help.

Got a 21 FE with 2800 miles.
Starts stops and runs just fine, reverse even works.
Problem is a noise from around the battery area. When shifting into first or second there is a weird buzzing noise for a few seconds.
BMW don't yet know what it is, just that it's thankfully not the gearbox.

All thoughts or solutions are welcome

I had the same problem. The Service Bulletin solved the noise. Call you dealer and ask the service dept. to look up.

Greatly appreciated, I have sent it to my dealer.
Can you recall if it was software fix or a new fuel pump.

I was always reminded of low fuel on my R1200C when I could hear the fuel pump.
In this case it is no doubt a software fix.
