I was wondering if any R18 owners had any issues and solutions for wrist issues from using R18 clutch. I have arthritis and find the clutch lever to cause a lot of discomfort after even a short ride and wondered what other riders in the sane situation did as a solution to this issue?

I find that changing gear while riding is not an issue as the clutch lever only needs to be pulled about 60 to 70% of the distance in but for changing easily into 1st or Neutral while stationary I find needs the clutch to be pulled in fully, 100%… and this is the issue!
I have my clutch set to number 1.
Thanks!

Maybe a different set of levers might help.... I've just ordered a set of these and will see if they make a difference and post here if they do.

Fwiw, DK Design make a slave clutch cylinder for the r ninet that reduces lever effort by 20%, but not one for the R18..... maybe reach out to them to see if they have anything similar planned for the R18.

Great idea Noel. I'm curious if anyone has tried the Clutch mod and would love to hear about it.

Share your opinion on the levers once you've put some time down on them. I'm a 2 finger lever guy, so having something more contoured is on my shopping list.

I'm a 2, maybe 3 as well. I'll let you know how they go (I'm getting them primarily as part of narrowing the handle bar width as we are moving house and I need get down a narrow side of the house to the bike storage area).
