Have you looked at the bars made by FCR:

They look pretty good but I was trying to go more drag bar style with the bar end mirror. I have only found these as an available choice and was looking for more options. I may try to bend my own but not sure about threaded ends and end diameter for factory grips.
I currently have a set of BMW Apehangers as a pattern and they don't support bar-end mirrors.

I'm guessing that the builder relocated the battery, potentially under the transmission where the exhaust servo module was located...?

I wonder if the builder is aware of the $1,000 compensation Credit for disabling the Reverse functionality...

They are stamped walzwerk. I would start there.
