Dangling hose problem

Hi guys!

I've just found a dangling hose beside left side pannel of my normal R18. I guess this hose shoud be connected to the canister or somewhere else but hanve no idea on whereabout.

Could you please take a look at this and help me find the solution? Thank you in advance!

Without checking myself, does it go into the nipple on the canister?

Pretty sure that’s just a vent to atmosphere, it shouldn’t be blocked. Some folk remove the charcoal canister and entire assembly, I haven’t, but there is guidance on the forum if you do a search and fancy taking it on.

As is clear from the functional diagram, there is no performance gain from removal.
