I ended up buying a mat to put where my 2023 R18 Classic is parked. I just bought it new in September (10 months ago) at a heavy discount. From the day i brought it home, after every ride, that little oil condensation pipe drips a single drop of oil. I have a 2016 R1200 that has never dripped anything after a ride. So this concerned me. I just took it in for the 6000 mile service and asked why it drips. The dealer said that they put to much oil in the bike when i did the 600 mile breakin service. The dealer kept the bike overnight and said they disassembled the airbox and cleaned the box and and dried it. They didn't charge me for the extra work. Before i left the shop we stood the bike level and confirmed that the oil is at the top of tye red ring but not at the top of the glass
Yet, after riding the bike for an hour home from the dealer... A single drop was found on the matt the next morning.
It just seems odd to me that i need to have a matt under my bike to prevent staining the concrete garage on a new motorcycle. It certainly makes me appreciate the R1200 GSA more.
