Has anyone else had problems with grease sepage from the front boot of the drive shaft. About a month ago I started to see grease splayed across the frame next to the front drive shaft boot. I have had to clean it up a couple of times. My estimation of at least a couple of ounces of grease. I had washed it up before turning it in to the local dealership to get the front tire replaced. I asked them to look at the grease leakage as well, and they found a gear oil leak from the final drive. So they ordered the seal for that. This was before talking to them a second time after dropping it off. So I went in to show them what I was talking about and it was clear there was grease on the frame and at the rear of the boot. They told me they would take care of it as a warranty item, and that it would probably require the shaft to be replaced. Well mid week I called to see if they had an update and was told parts were not available and it was being escalated to corporate for guidance on how to handle it. I called today Saturday to see if they had an update. It was explained to me today the amount of leakage I am seeing was normal. They asked if I had any photos of what I had cleaned off. So now I get to pickup the bike drive it around until I have better evidence. Definitely doesn't leave me with a good impression of how they handle warranty issues. Anyone else having grease leakage?
