I have the stock seat on my R1800B looking for an aftermarket drivers backrest . Any suggestions?

Back when I owned a Transcontinental, I sent the stock seat to Russell Seats in CA. It came back with a backrest on a much more comfortable sit.
From what I’m aware of, Utopia seems to be the only player in the game with something for the stock seat. https://utpr.com/products/bmw-r18-bagger
You can go for a whole new seat from Russell or Corbin and get a backrest that way too, but it’s gonna be north of $1000. Almost ashamed to say it, but I bought a Corbin and a backrest from a guy on here a couple months ago and I’m yet to even use it! Just sitting on the shelf.

I went with the cheaper chinese version. Converts for the passenger when required. Works very well.

Would you post a link for this? I need to do something but I don't want to spend a $1000 or more
The utopia backrest is $279. That Chinese convertible rest is kinda cool tho.

Thanks for the Utopia lead. I went ahead and ordered one. I'll update once I get it and get in a few test rides.

I bought a new backrest on eBay for $175. It was designed for the BMW weekender seat. Got the weekender right here on this forum.

I have this sissybar backrest/rack. It's good for the passenger but I don't think it works well at all as a driver backrest. Forget carrying luggage if you use it as a backrest. It also doesn't stay in place very well in my experience. Utopia is the way to go, with the stock seat.

Mine works well for the rider, doesn't move. I noticed there are slight differences of these chinese versions. Maybe some are crappier than others????
