False Tire Pressure Warning

In freeway traffic this morning, the console on my R18 B alerted me not the tire pressure was low, and that it was an emergency and I should pull over immediately.. everything felt fine, but I scrolled through the menus and it showed me a rear tire pressure of 6 psi. By this point I was slowed down quite a bit in rush hour traffic so I thought it was possibly plausible that had lost all tire pressure? I pulled over, got off the bike and kicked the tire. Seemed pretty hard to me

I got back on, and the tire pressure showed everything was normal again. No harm no foul, but I guess there's a certain risk associated with having to pull over for such an important warning. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Nathan,

I had the same problem once in 10,000 kms of riding. I got the warning, pulled over immediately and checked tire pressure which was ok. I restarted the bike and all was good again. The problem has never happened again.
