Fitting an R18B seat to a R18 standard?

I purchased a Mustang Fastback seat in black for a fantastic deal to replace the current one I have in brown (it just didn't look right). It looks like I received a R18B seat for the normal R18. It *almost* fits, but it looks like the tongue needs to be a bit higher. It appears that the seat tongue bracket for the R18B (#52531540506) and the decoupler (#52539899406) are currently backordered and there's not a single one for sale anywhere. There are no underseat harnesses for heating or anything of the sort, so not a big deal otherwise. Once mounted, it looks like it would be more comfortable too with the front raised to give it more of a bucket seat type deal compared to it wanting to slide me forward.

Has anyone been able to mount this by just bending the tongue up or adding some sort of spacer between the frame and the tongue?

If anyone wants a brown R18 fastback seat once I get this sorted, I'll sell it for $100 + shipping.
