I don't understand the use of these gizmos.

Cosmetic, fills in the big hole in the front axle. Somewhat like the Foxtale on a Schwinn bicycle. A $140 DooDad. Interchangeable with a Left Hand Belly Button Brush or a Fully developed Albino Gazorp.

They are FARKLES.

You can buy them cheap on eBay or AliExpress.

More correctly they are Freakles, they serve no actual purpose.
Aux lights and GPS are Farkles.
