Anyone know the air gap for the front fork? All I can find is 120mm but that's after installing the Wilburs fork spring replacement. Tackling a leaky fork seal and looking to save the $500 most shops want ...... kids and Christmas and all that.

thank you kind sir; appreciate the pfd. where perchance can one find the manual for future reference? also, i like what you've done to your bike and have a merry xmas.

Thankyou,

the factory manual for the TC was linked to on this forum a month or two ago, some that acted quickly (inc me) downloaded it before it disappeared (in less then 24hr!).

Unfortunately the download was huge and the manual is 2,700 pages that does not seem to be indexed.

I haven't done much with it yet, took me 30 minutes to find that page (it's on my tablet that I just use for couch based browsing) I need to put it on my desktop and see what I can do at some stage.

Ended up using 120mm. 100mm is based on the TC which has a much heavier front end due to fairing and all. Also used Bel-Ray fork oil at 20 wt. So far so good, very nice ride and it eliminated front end dive when braking hard.
