2024 BMW R18 Roctane
Hello everyone,

Glad to finally be a member of the R18 club and I just acquired a 2024 black Roctane. My last muscle cruiser was a 2023 Harley Breakout and I’ve also owned pretty much every brand under the sun. I've been eyeing the R18 platform ever since it came out, but for one reason or another never followed through on my purchase. Prices in the Los Angeles area have fallen to unfathomable levels (kind of like a reverse covid effect) and I just had to get act. It's sitting at an auto detailer getting a full paint correction and I'll post some high quality pics once I have the bike back in a week or so. Also found some deals on RSD parts and I'll be installing those. My goal is to post some YouTube content to push back against the misconceptions of this bike. It's amazing how many reviewers simply do not bother to read the user manual. Anyways, looking forward to gaining / sharing knowledge.

Doesn't really apply to this big girl. I took my dirt bike to a mechanic and asked him what I could do to improve the suspension. He told me I either needed to pay $5k for better suspension or lose 20 lbs. I decided to gain 10 lbs and buy the R18. :eek:.
