So my R18 is at the dealer getting a rear end oil leak fixed. The service manager expects BMW will just replace the entire bearing. It has been a long time since my garage sat empty with no bike.
It seems odd to have an oil leak back there given the double sided swing arm. I never had a leak on any of my single swing arm R1200C's.
While at the dealer last weekend I ogled a beautiful blue R1250 RT. Wouldn't it be the deal to have both R18 AND an R1250RT?
One other thing....the dealer said a fix is in now for the reverse problem so getting two birds with one stone.
