I bought this scan tool for my 2022 R18B to reset my service reminder since my dealer wanted there min of 200 bucks . Did all my own service and the next thing I want to do is replace and brake fluid and will need to cycle on my ABS module to purge it . But I can’t find on my unit were to do it . Will I need to buy the upgrade subscription for 99 bucks to do this ? It’s still cheaper if I need to purchase it since my dealer wants 250 bucks parts and labor .

I was able to do that . I have my service reset done . I’m looking for the settings to activate the abs brake module to purge it when I replace the brake fluid .

If you can’t find it under the service functions in the ABS section, then maybe you do. HexCode has a user forum you could ask there or email them.

I'll try and get a screenshot later today; to be honest, I fumble my way through the GS-911 platform. I know the ABS pump is enabled, I've played around with actuators for the headlight, directionals, brake light, horn, etc and remember seeing the ABS function.

I'm planning on working through the function of lowering the intensity of the cruise LED lights tonight after work..

Yes you have to buy a yearly subscription to unlock and whole lot more parameters you can play with including bleeding the brakes and pulsating the ABS module. Cost 99 bucks but with the increased things you can accomplish with it . Worth the money in my opinion . So I purchased it and now I can save to 250 bucks the dealership was going to charge me .

The annual subscription must be something relatively new. I got the pro version a couple years ago with unlimited VINs, and there was no annual $$$.

For me personally, I'd rather pay more $$$ up front than be held captive by an annual subscription, but that's just me.

The enthusiast version will let you reset the service reminder and pulse the ABS module, I just did it over the weekend. You don’t need the pro (subscription) unless you want to use unlimited vin’s. You get 10 vin’s with the enthusiast version and you will be able to do anything you need to do. I added (then deleted) the sports screen on my bagger, added the aux driving lights icon to the bagger TFT, changed my front indicators to always on for my CE04 scooter, etc.

Super simple - no issues to report.. Just grab your GS-911 and Connect it to your Computer and it will initiate the upgrade with a pop window asking if you want to perform the upgrade or Cancel:

I'm using a MAC OS
