so i went to buy a gs-911 on amazon ($320) , but procrastinated, then went back the next day to finally buy it, and they had pulled them, saying they didnt know if or when they would have them back! so, my question is why? did they not do what they were suppose to do and maybe the manuf. pulled them? seems odd. you can buy they on ebay for $450, which seems odd also that it was so much more. does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Motorworks in the UK are also doing a promotion on their existing stock so maybe an upgrade is inbound. Amazon often do things like this as do BMW themselves. I did the same thing as you for a new set of V&H mufflers a couple of months ago with quote “loads in stock”. The next week they had been removed from the supply chain in the UK and Europe! It’s worth a quick email to the manufacturer if concerned but they have been around for years with many users so it is not a product issue.

Is it anything to do with the new Euro+5 regs? My understanding is that these 2026 and onwards bikes are increasingly designed to be ‘tamper proof’ and the push to be main dealer serviced only. This is not just BMW but all bikes intended for sale in Europe. 🤷‍♂️
