Does anyone know how to get to the handlebar clamps on the TC ? TFT and instruments make it impossible to access them. How do I temporarily remove/ move the TFT? I can only find 4 screws on the outside of the instrument panel (2 on top and 2 under the speakers) is this all that holds the instrument cluster and TFT and all that plastic in place? I would like to lower my handlebars by one or two clicks, so my arms are not fully extended. Thanks!

You will need to remove many, many bolts to get at them. Most of the front end has to come apart to get at those bolts.
Have a look through some of the accessory installation manuals for indicators on the bagger and it will show you the process to remove the TFT as I had to when I fitted them.

I have had the same thoughts. My arms are fully extended so I plan to get the Heli-bars once they get the chrome version out the door. I'm not wiling to install the gloss black bars yet.

Can you adjust the handlebars on TC closer to the rider, I get back pain between my shoulder blades after riding.

I had mine adjusted/lowered at the dealership last week, it took the technician 15 minutes to take everything off and another 15 minutes to put it back together. He said it was basically same process for the head light recall so he could do it in sleep. It was well worth 1/2 hour labour charge.

Oscar,
There is a video on YouTube where the guy does exactly what you want.
It seemed like more than 15 minutes one way. About 30 fasteners to undo. 64 fasteners if you change to the Heli bars.

I saw that video and was reluctant to do it myself, I was at shop for reverse recall so I asked the technician. I was surprised when he call me in to set the position to my preference.

I had mine set at the dealerahip when I got my 1st service. I thought it would be a bigger job than it was. The tech told me it was no big deal, they take that stuff off and on quite frequently.
I haven't tried doing it myself, though. 😉
