Any one here install riser to their r18?

the brake and clutch lines must be change in order to install the riser.

I'll wait for the BMW risers become available. They are $20.00 cheaper, taller and look better. The longer cables will be needed in either case.


*Revise: The Wunderlich Riser kit includes the longer cables. The BMW riser doesn't so the price of the Wunderlich is actually better.

I've pushed the speedometer mount as far towards the headlamp as it'll go with the stock clutch and brake lines. The answer is 15.6mm. For anyone who wants to buy these risers with the hope that they'll work without changing the lines, they won't. Sorry.

Now, who's gonna find some non-BMW mark-up priced just slightly longer than stock brake and clutch lines? They're out there someplace.

I like that feature as well, but at only 25mm of rise, it's not worth the trip. Hopefully Wunderlich will offer 50mm or 75mm of rise versions. Then, I'm a player.

Yes, i did installed the DK one for my friend.

If you install handlebar windshield, the raiser will conflict with the windshield you install.

The classic works fine. I am talking about those after market handlebar mount windshield.

I test ride them it is working great.

I look forward too to have them. The dealer told me they are in back order and will not reach the US until December 2022. I also have the specific clutch and break line codes for this riser if anyone wants to have them.
