Happy new R18 Owner in Dallas, TX

Took out an R18 yesterday for a test ride, took me a few miles to get acclimated to its character so I kept riding... then, a funny thing, it started to feel really good riding it so I kept on going, and going, and going....

You probably can guess how this turned out :) I am now the owner of a 77-mile R18!

Pictured next to it is what I traded in for it, 2008 Softail Deluxe.

I am by no means new to Boxers and BMW, have thoroughly enjoyed several RT and GS Boxers, just had to get the HD out of my system :)

Now if I can only get some sound out the R18!

Get rid of the chrome plate dead fish hanging on each side.
