Has everyone's R18 winter fuel consumption increased? My car averages 8L/100km in summer, but it's 10-10.5L/100km in winter.

My car has currently covered 13,000 kilometers. I'm wondering if the throttle needs cleaning, or if the spark plugs need to be replaced, or something else. Since I rarely drive in winter, I'm not sure if the increase in fuel consumption is a normal phenomenon.
 
I follow regular bmw service.

As far as fuel economy goes I have never given it more thought that what I did thinking I was giving it no thought for this reply. When it’s empty I fill it up.
 
It is completely normal for combustion engines to have to work harder in cold temps. That is why the first part of my response was to simply follow BMW service guidelines and schedules.
