Now we Yankees have a member who can translate some of the Deutsh that befuddles us. ;)

That's for sure.
In fact, if one were to pay attention to the stickers all over the bike that state their country of origin a person might come to the conclusion that the R18 was ONLY ASSEMBLED in Berlin, as it says all over it.

Yes true for the accessories offered as non standard. The most, and above all the motor was made in Germany.
