Helmet lock positioning

Looking for the best location to put that lock so it won't be an hassle for the mechanics.

Near the reverse control seems ok.

The helmet might find itself resting on the hot exhaust system; maybe check it, before locking it in prior to your first ride..

How is the fit from a diameter standpoint on the R18 frame; was there a specific model that you selected for the R18?

your concern is valid, thanks for your answer! but the helmet stands on the foot peg, safe from the heat. i was more wondering if this could block access to serviceceable parts or such. i think the fuse box is on the other side. i wouldn't want to get in the way of an air filter change !

Right behind the plastic cover next to the reverse lever is the transmission oil fill plug. I may get in the way with this.
