Highway pegs on a curve or horizontal bar

My appreciation in advance for any advice I get here.

So when I got the bike it had the wunderlich engine guards, which have a curve on the outside instead of a vertical section where you would mount your standard generic highway pegs. I'm pretty meh about the calf rest over piston "highway pegs", it's just too awkward to haul my legs up that high and I don't feel like I can yank my feet back on the foot controls fast enough.

So I'm looking for either a foot rest peg that will mount on the horizontal bar on the bottom of the engine guard or for someone with an experienced opinion on attaching a clip-on foot rest to the outer curve of the engine guard.

With no feedback I went forward with the "I'll tighten the hell out of it and never take it off" theory. Imho, it went pretty well.

Which ones did you end up using? I feel the same way about the 'calf support over the cylinder' rests as you ... any pics you would like to share?

I got the kemi moto extended flip out pegs.

There is some vibration from them when extended due to the flip joint and the spring, but it's not too bad and pretty much gone if you don't flip them out, and not there if you have your feet on em. I'm pretty happy with em. The big foot area is really nice. Nice wide stance, and transitioning to the foot controls falls well inside my feeling of safety.

I found the floorboards on the Model B to be comfortable; I tried the BMW foot rest, and sold them after two or three rides...

I thought about the Wunderlich leg rest that attach to the cylinder heads - over the push rods.
