I think this could actually snap my socket wrench.

Yes, pillion peg bolts on my R18 Base were very tight, I was impressed at how hard they were to unscrew.
I used a 1/2 in ratchet to get a bit more leverage, and the ratchet was sturdier.

BMW uses some sort of gray loctite and it is really overkill.Just another way to make you use your dealer,LOL!

It is an m12 bolt with loctite. Get a bigger hammer. Or in this case a longer lever.
