It can't be that much unless they plan on replacing the valve cover gaskets ($175.00 each) even if they're in good shape and don't need to be replaced.
I paid $335.00 for valve check and adjustment -it was needed-

same here, stop riding the R-18 as much since July when i got my GSA... got 6956 miles on the bike so far...

I have 7,694 on my '22 R18TC and 7,323 on my '22 R1250RT.

I put a little bit over 14,000 miles on my 2021 R18FE since October of 2021 even though the bike was in the shop for about 2 and a half months combined, waiting for parts from Germany to arrive.
It's funny because I have not been on any long road trips with the exception of the ride to Russell Day Long in Shasta Lake, to have a few adjustments done to the seat. Something like 360 miles round trip...
But miles add up if you ride almost every day.
