Years ago a company named Cee Bailey sold windshields for the R1200C. Their shields came with a cutout in the lower center that allowed a stream of air to penetrate the volume in front of the rider and stop up-draft buffeting. I know because I had one for 14 years.
The high speed air entering that cutout comes to a sudden stop because the small area cutout suddenly expends to a large area in front of the rider.
Area1 * Velocity1 = Area2 * Velocity2. Area1 is a small number while Velocity1 is a big number. But on the rider's side of the windshield, Area2 is a very big number so Velocity2 is a very small number.
I am not aware of any brand of windshield that uses the Cee Bailey physics (Cee Bailey no longer makes motorcycle shields). So I am contacting Jurock to see if they would consider (for an extra fee) making three 1 inch circle cutouts as shown in the pic below. This is a winning formula to stop up-draft.
