First post!
I just signed paperwork today to take ownership of my first BMW motorcycle.
One question that the sales people couldn't answer was is there a way to punch in a code (like Harley or Indian) if you leave your key fob behind.
With my old bike I set up my tent close to where the bike was parked and threw my jacket(with the fob) in the tent and then took off.
Since I was so close to the jacket, the bike started, but once I stopped I couldn't start it without first entering the correct code.
Does my new r18b have anyway to start the bike in a similar situation?
The dealer still has the bike to add exhaust, so I can't test it.
Thanks in advance,
Daniel
